My Last day...
The traffic getting to and back from where the sights are located is terrible. It is at least and hour or so drive. I had wanted to visit the museum of tomorrow but decided not to thinking of my favorite quote "Never travel like you're not going back"
So I rested the next day hop a long flight to Panama, then Montreal with a 6 hour layover from 12 am to 6 am, then a quick flight home to NYC. Gratefully, it was a miles flight all in business class.

A New day: One of the 7 Wonders of the New World...
The Christ the Redeemer Stature is called one of the 7 wonders of the new world.
I was fortunate, I did not have to wait long to enter the cable car that took you to an elevator, where you can either walk or take the elevator up to the landing and then walk up to the Stature. The are was over run with people. People on the floor taking photos to capture the high stature, and everywhere we all were taking selfies.
While I was waiting to be taken up to the top, I stopped at the photo booth where you can take photos of you and the stature behind you without the crowd around you...

The Monastery
This place was beautiful. Here are some interesting photos. I was beginning to tired so after here and the Cathedral I decided to head back to the hotel.

My most interesting Cathedral
I knew even though feeling under the weather that I had to get out a do something. I asked the hotel for a car to take me to the Cathedral and Monastery.
The car from any hotel with always cost you more than hiring a cab or uber. However, with the hotel car was very nice sedan the driver spoke English well.
Some photos from this Cathedral that seemed to be designed like a Mayan Pyramid. The present Pope said mass here a few years ago.

First day into town...
I decided to cancel my 2 day trip to the Falls once I was sick. I am glad I did as now I would be here for 6 days and able to relax. I am sorry that the Falls were missed but due to my insurance, I would be able to claim the two nights at the Hyatt which I paid in cash, Doctor bill, and Rx.
