Day 1 to Portland

The Alaska first class lounge sucked at JFKThe food was soggy bagels and bread... The only good thing was the coffee.  Alaska Fist Class seats while comfortable Barth recline and have this MANUAL push button to recline the seat. The food was nothing special, I will look at other airlines in future.
We picked up over priced good for the room. We still have not eaten it all. Best to buy when we get to the room.
Since, we arrived early our room was not ready. We had a wonderful breakfast at Cafe Nells. Our room was ready when we got back. We were happy it was on the first floor.
The evening we met up with Browyn and had a wonderful dinner at Jakes.  I had the crab and ship stuffed halibut and a couple of sidecars to drink,  it was wonderful.
